Bonners Ferry Idaho to Lake Louise.
Our hosts in Bonners Ferry, Kathy and Quentin Harden joined us but traveled by car. They will travel with us tomorrow too but then we will part ways in Jasper.
It was 30 miles to the Canadian Border crossing. After a five or six questions he handed us back our passports with a yellow card and told us to pull around to the inspection area.
I thought he was hard to hear, but Shawn say she could hear him. I guess my failing hearing and having a helmet on is my excuse.
I pictured them tearing apart the bike that took two weeks to carefully pack. We went into the building and another border guard asked mostly the same questions and then said enjoy your trip. I guess I am glad I didn't get a red card!

The hot springs are in Banff National Forest so we had to pay to drive through. The road from Radium to Castle Junction was amazing. High speed flowing twisties for 80 miles!

Not so good weather, wet road |
Thanks for following us on this great trip. It inspires us to keep it up. It is more time consuming than I thought but I am getting better at it. I don't think we will have wireless internet tonight so it may be a day or so before you hear from us.
See ya down the road, Icefields Hwy to Jasper and McBride today
